Service, Cancellation & Refund Policies

Version 2026-08-22. These policies apply to paid services purchased on this site and sit alongside the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Personalized services and what is included

Every paid service on this site is a personalized professional service prepared for one individual or organization. Written deliverables are produced specifically from the information you submit; live sessions are delivered one-to-one.

The deliverables, price, turnaround and any included session length for each service are listed on the service page and shown again in the confirmation summary before you pay. Nothing outside that list is included.

  • Resume Review ($39): a written critique of your existing resume. No rewriting is included.
  • Professional Resume Revamp ($129): a full rewrite of your existing resume, plus one revision round.
  • Resume + Career Strategy ($199): the Revamp plus one 30-minute 1:1 strategy call.
  • Interview Prep ($79): one 30-minute 1:1 mock interview and preparation session with written follow-up.

Resume and career services: what is and is not promised

Resume and career services are professional advisory and editing services. No interview, job offer, employment, salary level or other hiring outcome is guaranteed, and no claim is made about how any employer or applicant-tracking system will rank you.

You are responsible for providing truthful, accurate career information. Degrees, credentials, licenses, employment history, titles, dates and accomplishments will never be fabricated, inflated or invented on your behalf; anything that cannot be supported by what you provide will be removed or raised with you.

Work begins after purchase and once the required materials — your intake form and, where relevant, your current resume — are received. Deliverables are sent electronically to the email address you provide, which you authorize by purchasing.

Revision scope is fixed: the Resume Revamp and the Resume + Career Strategy package each include one revision round. Work outside the purchased scope — a second document, a new target role rewrite, further rounds — is a separate service or payment.

Turnaround and your part in it

Turnaround times begin when a complete intake form is received, not at the moment of payment. Written reviews are returned within three business days of a complete intake; resume drafts within five business days. Live sessions are scheduled by email, normally within one business day of purchase.

If information is missing, you will be asked for it and the clock pauses until it arrives. If an intake is not submitted within 90 days of purchase, the order may be treated as delivered-in-full for scheduling purposes; contact us before that point if you need more time and a reasonable extension will be arranged.

Revisions

The Professional Resume Revamp and the Resume + Career Strategy package each include one round of revisions. A revision round means one consolidated set of your comments on the draft, returned within 14 days of receiving it, addressed in a single updated version.

The Resume Review and Interview Prep services do not include revisions, because no document is produced or rewritten. Additional revision rounds or new versions can be quoted separately.

What counts as delivery

A written service is delivered when the review or resume draft is sent to the email address you provided. A live service is delivered when the scheduled session takes place, or when a session is missed without notice as described below.

Substantive personalized work is considered to have begun once your intake has been reviewed and drafting, analysis or session preparation has started.

Cancellation and rescheduling of booked sessions

Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Reply to your scheduling email or write to the address on the contact page.

Inside the 24-hour window, one courtesy reschedule is offered where the calendar allows. After that, a session cancelled or rescheduled late may be treated as delivered.

If you arrive late, the session still ends at its scheduled finish time so the following client is not affected. If you do not attend and have given no notice, the session is treated as delivered after a 15-minute wait. If SAS Health Ops has to reschedule, you are offered a new time at your convenience or a full refund of that session.

Refunds

You may cancel and receive a full refund at any time before substantive personalized work has begun and before any session has taken place — in practice, before your intake is worked on or your session is held.

Once substantive personalized work has begun or a deliverable has been sent, the fee is generally non-refundable, because the work is prepared specifically for you and cannot be resold. Where work has started but nothing has been delivered, a partial refund reflecting the work not yet performed may be issued at our discretion.

If a deliverable is not provided at all, is materially different from what is described on the service page, or a session cannot be delivered by us, you are entitled to a full refund of that item. Dissatisfaction with hiring outcomes is not a basis for refund: no employment, interview, salary or hiring result is guaranteed by any service.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5-10 business days. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Payment problems, disputes and unauthorized transactions

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are never seen or stored by SAS Health Ops.

If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, or you spot anything unusual on your receipt, report it promptly — by email through the contact page and to your card issuer. Reports are investigated in good faith and, where a charge is found to be unauthorized or made in error, it is refunded.

If you are unhappy with an order, contacting us first is usually the fastest route to a resolution, but you keep every right you have with your card issuer and under applicable law. Accepting these policies does not waive your right to dispute a charge or to raise a chargeback.

Accuracy, confidentiality and acceptable use

You are responsible for the accuracy of the employment history, credentials and accomplishments you submit; nothing will be written or advised on the basis of information you know to be untrue.

Submissions and uploaded documents are stored privately and used only to deliver your service. Never include patient-identifiable information or protected health information in any form or upload.
